Testimonials

Psoriasis is a skin condition that affects 1-2% of the world's population. As an inflammatory skin disorder, psoriasis can impact daily life and has traditionally required messy topical therapies or systemic medicines with potentially severe side effects. Fortunately, several new treatments are available to effectively treat psoriasis with significantly less side effects. Three new, innovative treatments for psoriasis are offered by our medical providers for patients in Silverdale, Gig Harbor and throughout Washington.

For localized, stubborn psoriasis lesions we are now using the PHAROS Excimer Laser. Most patients will achieve 75% or greater clearance in as few as 6 to 10 sessions. Remission has been shown to last several months. these treatments take only a few minutes, are painless and are covered by most insurance companies.

Ever wonder what it would be like to not need all those messy, time consuming creams and lotions for treating your psoriasis?

What is PHAROS EX-308 Excimer Laser?

The PHAROS Excimer Laser is an exciting new treatment for psoriasis. It is clinically and laboratory proven as a highly effective wavelength for treating psoriasis. The PHAROS Excimer Laser is designed to provide fast, effective relief from dry, itchy and unsightly psoriasis lesions.

How does the PHAROS EX-308 Laser treat psoriasis?

Using a carefully focused beam of laser light delivered through an advanced technology light guide device, the PHAROS Excimer Laser system can treat psoriasis lesions quickly and effective. The PHAROS Excimer Laser concentrates the light only on the psoriasis lesion, allowing the physician’s assistant to deliver high doses of necessary for rapid clearing right to the exact lesion spot – minimizing exposure of health skin to random ultraviolet rays.

What is an PHAROS EX-308 Laser treatment for psoriasis like?

Treatments are fast, easy and performed in a physician’s office. On the first visit, our physician will determine your optimal starting dose. Then the physician or a trained health care professional will point the PHAROS hand piece over the affected area(s) and expose the lesion to the laser light. Depending on the size of the affected area, this takes only a few minutes and requires no anesthesia.

Do PHAROS EX-308 Laser treatments for psoriasis hurt?

Most patients feel no pain or discomfort during the quick PHAROS Laser sessions. Occasionally, some patients report a warm sensation, similar to a mild sunburn, at the treatment site.

How many PHAROSEX-308 Laser treatments does it take and what results can I expect?

Individual results will vary depending on the body surface affected; however, most patients are able to obtain relief in just ten or fewer brief treatment sessions (often 75%-100% clearance).

How long will my psoriasis remission last?

Remissions are expected to last at least as long as with conventional phototherapy and with fewer treatments per year to remain free of symptoms. May sufferers experience relief for several months or more.

Who should consider PHAROS EX-308 Excimer Laser treatment for psoriasis?

Individuals with mild to moderate psoriasis that are unhappy with their current method of treatment or who have failed previous treatment options should consider the PHAROS Excimer Laser treatment. This included individuals who have tried topical treatments, oral medications, injections and traditional phototherapy and have areas not responding to those treatments. The PHAROS Laser is perfect for active people who want fast, convenient results.
